About Seniors Helping Seniors Bellingham

Here at seniors Helping Seniors Bellingham/ Friends of Woodrose ministry we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in Jun2 23, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded the Food pantry with . to provide a atmosphere of compassion without shame or guilt and the highest quality of food we can get. We now offer a mini salad bar and we clean all the squash to be oven ready and make soups to stock our freezers that are nutritious and low sodium  and many that are vegetarian and vegan. On Tuesdays every week we do a lunch entrée in our dining area and encourage hanging out and lively conversation along with music of the era.  Seniors Helping Seniors Bellingham emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. The most unique thing about us is that we have a closed apartment community with about 80 of 200 units needing a little help, so we can gage success when all are happy . We  feed the body, the mind and the spirit.
